Sunday, August 17th - Driving in the Golden Triangle
After we left Many Galcier we headed out and hit Higway 2 East. We stay on Highway 2 for our 1300 mile trek home. We got 414 miles under our belt and stayed at Wolf Point, MT.
As we drove we came across these enormous fields. There were fields as long as your eye could see. We did some googling and found out we were in the “Golden Triangle.” The Golden Triangle is a region in the northern plains that produces high-quality and high-protein wheat due to the area’s dry and arid climate.

Monday, August 18th - Drive, Drive, and Drive Some More
Today we drove 674 miles from Wolf Point, MT to Warba, MN. This was a 11.5 hour day with stops. This was the longest distance we have driven since we began our journey. We drove through the rest of Montana, all of North Dakota, and 1/2 of Minnesota. We drove through Rugby, ND - the geographic center of the United States. Mike did most of the driving as I worked for hours on the blog.
We stayed in Warba, MN at the American Legion Campground.
Tuesday, August 19th - Drive Home
Today we hit the road at 7:00 AM and are headed back to the cabin. We drove the 204 miles home and got there at around 11:00 AM. We made it.

We drove 7762 miles and road the ferries 1600 miles. We did all modes of transportation including cars, buses, trains, planes, helicopters, ferries, tour boats, rive rafts, and kayaks. It was amazing!
The Alaskan Adventure was more than we could have ever imagined. We both decided if it weren’t for our Bubba, family and friends, we would just keep going!
Thank you dear Lord for allowing us the opportunity to do this - we are truly blessed.
This picture sums up our entire Adventure - wild and full of laughter.
